Queen Elizabeth II had reportedly kept her meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle daughter Lilibet very brief amid health concerns.

According to reports, the monarch had only spent 15 minutes with the couple while a photographer had also been prevented from documenting the event.
With that being said, there were suggestions that the monarch did not hold the duo in high regard, thus giving credence to the fact that there is a lot of tension between Harry and Meghan in relation to the Queen.
However, this has been downplayed. Jonathan Sacerdoti, who happens to be a Royal expert, had this to say: “I think it’s totally understandable that she was saving her energy as best she could for all the events.
“We saw that she did manage to appear several times in public, and that’s great.” Nevertheless, the monarch’s critics were not convinced for the following reasons.
First of all, the fact that Harry and Meghan had arrived in the UK for the first time in 2 years in front of the British public was a momentous occasion at the time.
And with no guarantees that the couple will arrive back again, there was an argument that the Queen could have gone out of her way to go the extra mile.
Secondly, this also reinforced the idea that perhaps some pictures should have been allowed between the Queen, and Lilibet especially if the meeting was going to be very brief.
And this was precisely the sentiment being expressed on social media. A certain subset of fans were not convinced by the explanation being given, with some even suggesting that Lilibet was being unfairly punished.
One person wrote: “She is, I believe, the arrogant Queen until she dies. Lili can’t help what her parents believe or do, and would be treated by us as our lovely grandchild regardless what our sons and daughters do.”
