Prince Harry was not happy during the course of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry Looked Miserable At Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee-‘A Life Of Injunctions, Press Attacks And Failed TV Deals Awaits Him’
That is according to royal expert Neil Sean. Harry and Meghan Markle arrived for the first time in the UK since their exit from the Royal family in 2020 with a mixed response.
The high anticipation was also clouded by a chorus of boos, as they exited the national service of thanksgiving held at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Despite Harry smiling for the cameras, Neil questioned whether he was being genuine.
In an interview with Fox News, he said: “Let me tell you one thing I did notice and this is that Prince Harry looks deeply unhappy up close and not at all happy with his new lot in [life].”
Nevertheless, it is important to take the comments with a pinch of salt. First of all, it has been 2 years since Harry has been in the UK in front of the press with his wife amid the Royal family craze.
Therefore, it is entirely understandable if he looked uncomfortable as it was easy for him to get overwhelmed. Secondly, after having been booed by a subset of the public, that naturally may have been playing on his mind.
And yet, for Neil, it was something much more than that. He questioned whether Harry had made the right decision and therefore was suffering as a result.
He added: “This is [a] stark reminder of what he has walked away from, and I would say he knows it. Now a life of injunctions, press attacks and failed TV deals awaits him and [his wife] Meghan [Markle] upon their return.”
The response on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people were of the view that Harry had been treated unfairly, while others resonated with Sean’s comments.
One person wrote: “A wife like he has would make anyone unhappy,” while another person stated: “Harry could also have looked unhappy…because he thinks these royal traditions are all BS.”
