AJ Styles has had issues with Edge for months now, and has been facing the attacks of Judgement Day from the start. Damien Priest & Rhea Ripley have joined Edge, and cost AJ Styles two big matches against the WWE Hall of Famer. Now, Styles has brought in an old friend with Finn Balor, and the ex tag team partner of Ripley in Liv Morgan – and tonight it’s a big six person tag team match.
Two Former BULLET CLUB Leaders Unite Against Judgement Day
This one would kick off with a six person brawl, before Ripley was the only member of Judgement Day left in the ring. Styles would pop Liv up into a hurricanrana, before she’d hit a running back elbow. Ripley would hit the delayed suplex, before hitting some grounded strikes.
Liv would tag in Styles, and Priest would step up to face him. Some knife edge chops would land, before Styles would stagger him with a dropkick and Pele Kick. Balor tagged in and kept the pressure on, going after the arm.
Priest would fight free, and a distraction from Edge would allow for a cheap shot. Edge would properly tag in and attack Balor on the floor, driving him into the apron and announce table. Back in the ring, Priest would hit a shoulder tackle, before Edge tagged in for some elbow smashes.
Balor would nearly fight to a tag, before Edge caught him with a flapjack. Priest would follow up with a lariat, before going back to the rear chinlock. This isolation was starting to work, as Balor showed less and less fight. However, a spinning chop would land before a Pele Kick.
Balor Learns The Meaning Of Judgement Day
Styles would get the tag alongside Edge, hitting the Phenomenal Blitz and a sliding forearm. Priest ran in and took a facebuster, before Edge took the Ushigoroshi. Liv would take Ripley down, before Priest took a knee strike off the apron. Phenomenal Forearm would land on Edge, but Priest yanked Styles away from the cover.
Liv & Ripley would get tags, and Liv got a near fall off a roll up. Crucifix Driver would follow, before Ripley would flaunt her power with a big suplex. Liv hit a DDT before tagging in Balor, with Judgement Day all cast from the ring and hit with a trio of dives.
Balor would look for the Coup De Grace in the ring, but Ripley yanked him off the top rope. Priest hit South of Heaven, before Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm. Balor would catch a spear into a roll up, before the slingblade and shotgun dropkick. Edge was in drop zone for Coup De Grace, but again Ripley was shielding her leader. Liv took her out, but Edge was able to hit the spear for the Judgement Day win.
