At Blood & Guts, Eddie Kingston was denied the satisfaction of making Chris Jericho tap out. Instead, Claudio Castagoli would tap out Matt Menard – who admitted he tapped out just to spite Kingston. Tonight, Kingston has a chance to call Jericho out once again – and is not known to keep a cool head in these situations.
Chris Jericho Pours More Fuel On The Fiery Temper Of Eddie Kingston
Tony Schiavone would kick off the interview, and said that Jericho is still on the radar of Kingston. First, he’d shout out Wardlow for the win of the TNT Championship, and to everyone on the winning team at Blood & Guts. However, Jericho made him a liar. Kingston promised to drink the blood of Jericho, but Jericho didn’t bleed.
Backstage, The Jericho Appreciation Society would beat down the friend of Kingston in Ruby Soho, and try to break her arm with a car door – all just adding fuel to the fire. Soho helped remove Conti from Blood & Guts, and now is suffering for being aligned with Kingston. This feud will have to end soon, and we could be on the way to a Lights Out match at this rate.
Dark Order Is Forever
Rochester is the hometown of the late, great, Mr. Brodie Lee – former leader of The Dark Order. Dark Order would hit the ring with the son of Brodie leading the charge- the always feared Negative One. Evil Uno, John Silver, Alex Reyonds, Preston Vance & Anna Jay are all that remain of the faction – but they’re still standing tall.
Chants of Brodie would ring out from the crowd as John Silver hyped them up. They’re in Dark Order country, and have important news. Everyone in this arena is what made Dark Order – and Evil Uno wanted to thank them all for their support. The six members are here to stay! Dark Order is here forever.
This is the start of a new chapter, but QT Marshall would crash the party. While QT respects Brodie Lee, he’d say that Negative One is not him. QT would want to fight the ten year old, and Hangman Page would make the save. Dark Order beat QT down, closing out with a discuss lariat. QT could be pinned now, but -1 will just wait until he’s 18 to beat him.
RUSH Will Win By Any Means Needed
Last week during the Royal Rampage match, RUSH & Andrade El Idolo started their chaotic plans for AEW. Penta Oscuro is alrady a target – and last week had his mask removed and was nailed with a steel chair. Tonight, Penta gets his chance at revenge as RUSH makes his singles match debut for AEW. He’s a two time ROH World Champion, and a proven powerhouse in the ring – which could be an issue for Penta here tonight – but fans can expect a lucha libre classic.
RUSH & Penta would kick this one off with an exchange of strikes in the middle of the ring, before RUSH would go for a vertical suplex and was blocked into a roll up. Penta nailed the superkick, before hitting an armdrag on the outside. Back in the ring, RUSH nailed a forearm smash – before the shotgun dropkick to the side of the head.
A cocky cover would follow, before Penta nailed some slingblades before a massive dive to the floor. Jose the Assistant & Alex Aberhantes would brawl on the floor, leaving just Rey Fenix & Andade at ringside. Back in the ring, RUSH applied the rear chinlock before going after the mask of Penta in the corner.
He’d be unable to pull it off, before nailing a knee strike and a powerslam for a near fall. Penta shot back with a backstabber, before a headbutt and leaping knee strike would drop Penta. RUSH would stomp Penta into the corner, before a diving dropkick for a two count.
He’d come off the top with a senton splash, before Penta hit the rolling cutter and the Fear Factor, with Andrade slipping the foot of RUSH on the ropes. A low blow, mask pull and roll up would get RUSH the win.
Will we see RUSH & Andrade face Lucha Bros soon? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
