‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like this is going to be a parenting episode as we’ll get to see the best in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) come out as they try to help and protect their children.
There’s going to be plenty of intense emotions flowing, and we’re going to have plenty of comfort food on hand as well as tissues just in case.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, July 29: Nikki always there
With it becoming more and more apparent that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had a hand in seeing a living or dead Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) off to the pearly gates, someone’s got to deal with the guilt.

Victor won’t come clean with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) because he doesn’t want to implicate him since moving Ashland was to protect him, and he’ll feel Nick will move beyond the emotional turmoil.
He may even know Nick would turn himself in and deal with the consequences. It must be hard for Victor that his children inherited Nikki’s conscience.
While he’s done his part, Nikki will do hers and be there for her son to help guide him through the guilt that’s going to be running roughshod through him.
The autopsy may be conclusive in Ashland’s death happening in the car, or it may show he was alive or the injury he sustained when he hit his head led to his death.
Either way, Nick’s going to feel responsible, and it’s going to be a dark time for him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, July 29: Kyle steps up
There’s no doubt Kyle is a good father, but he’s going to be entering uncharted waters with how he deals with the news of Ashland’s passing and actions when it comes to Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think he’s going to break the news to Harrison what Ashland is dead, but he won’t let any news about Ashland’s actions reach him to ruin the love the child had for him.
Ashland may not have been Harrison’s biological father, but he was in every other sense of the word and Harrison is going to feel it.
This is going to be an especially powerful moment as Kyle will be doing what Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) did for him when his mom faked her death, and it’ll only help him come full circle.
At least Harrison’s last memory with Ashland was recent and a good one. Unless he saw Ashland being arrested somehow or heard something.
