A new bombshell has emerged that Meghan Markle did in fact make Kate Middleton cry in their infamous row over bridesmaids dresses.
New Expose Reveals Meghan Made Kate Cry After Duchess Of Sussex Slammed Princess Charlotte’s Dress And Favoured Her Best Friend Jessica Mulroney’s Daughter- Middleton ‘Burst Into Tears’
That is according to Royal author Tom Bower in his book entitled ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors.’
According to Tom’s claims, Middleton “burst into tears” after Meghan compared “Princess Charlotte unfavourably to her best friend Jessica Mulroney’s daughter [Ivy].”
That had apparently occurred during the course of a fitting for the bridesmaid dresses where Meghan and Kate disagreed over the length of Charlotte’s dress, as well as whether she should wear tights.
Naturally, those comments would not have gone down very well, if they were taken to be true. It would have had the impact of pitting the children against each other.
And yet, it appears that this is precisely what ended up happening. In his book, Tom wrote: “Some would say that Meghan compared Ivy favourably against Charlotte.”
These claims are opposed to what Meghan had disclosed during her controversial Oprah Winfrey interview. During the course of that process, the Duchess of Sussex made it clear that she did not make Kate cry in the run up to the wedding.
In fact, she even went as far as to suggest that the opposite happened which is why she was so distressed at being blamed for something that she did not ultimately do.
In her comments at the time, Meghan remarked: “She (Kate) was upset about something, but she owned it, and she apologised. And she brought me flowers.
“What was hard to get over was being blamed for something that not only I didn’t do but that happened to me.” In reality, the only two people who know what went down were Meghan and Kate.
