EVIL is about to start his G1 Climax, and as a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion – has a solid chance to make the finals. He kicks off against a fellow BULLET CLUB member, KENTA. Despite already starting his tournament, KENTA remains at 0 points – after getting cocky against ZSJ. He will look to get on the board tonight, and start a win streak to win the block.

Dick Togo would be in the corner of EVIL for this match, and even against a fellow member of BULLET CLUB – will not be scared to cheat to win. KENTA showed an old level of brutality in his match with ZSJ, and could bring the hard hitting style from EVIL tonight.

Two Rulebreakers Kick This Match Off In An Unexpected Way

EVIL offered a handshake to start, before trying to pull KENTA into the STO. Instead, he’d offer a Too Sweet after apologising… and got poked in the eyes and nearly taken into the Go To Sleep. KENTA went under the ring and pulled out a copy of his new book, offering it to EVIL – who threw it in the air before a kick to the midsection.

KENTA would take this one to the floor, shoved him into the ring post – and smacked him with the book. EVIL went face first off the ring bell, before he’d drive KENTA into the timekeepers table. Back into the ring, EVIL would get a one count, before shoving KENTA into the magically exposed steel of the corner, something which Dick Togo had nothing to do with.

EVIL would look for the cobra twist with the assist from Togo, but KENTA would counter and use a handful of Dick for extra leverage. Some kicks would follow, before the referee was dropped. EVIL & Togo would take advantage of this, and nail Magic Killer, but would only get a two count.

Dick Togo Helps EVIL Get The Win

EVIL would look for that STO, but KENTA blocked and looked for Go To Sleep. The referee was dropped again, before KENTA hit the DDT. He’d go under the ring, and grabbed a crutch, before Dick Togo would disarm him. KENTA would pull a page from the Eddie Guerrero playbook and feign an attack as the referee awoke, before some roll ups for some close falls.

EVIL would drive him into the exposed steel – before finding himself in Game Over. The lights would go out, and EVIL got free before strangling KENTA with a T-Shirt. EVIL grabbed some steel chairs before swinging for the fences, but was thwarted, before taking a chair to the chest. They’d both struggle to get into the ring, with Dick Togo grabbed the feet of KENTA to prevent him from reaching the ring.

With two back to back losses, is KENTA doomed as far as reaching the finals goes? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
