Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded as boring.
Harry And Meghan Branded ‘Boring Celebrities’
That is according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. His comments center around the fact that Harry and Meghan have become more of celebrities, as opposed to having any form of royal connection.
This would make entire sense since they left the Royal family in order to shield themselves from the media scrutiny and raise their children away from it.
Not only that, but Harry and Meghan’s appearances on the ‘Late Late Show with James Corden; and the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ respectively, demonstrated that newfound celebrity status.
And yet, that has not made Perez endear them any more than he would have done. In his comments, he said: “You know, I’m not being a hater. I am stating the facts.
“In America, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not royals to us. They are celebrities. And unfortunately, they’re boring celebrities.”
Despite that being the case, there is no denying that Harry and Meghan have been moving into different fields.
Harry’s recent speech at the UN has been accompanied by other ventures, including his role as Chief Impact Officer at the mental health company BetterUp. And all of this shows the couple in a different light than we have been used to seeing.
Nevertheless, the fans on social media felt that the couple had been hard done by. This was on the basis that they did manage to achieve what they set out to do and live a life of independence.
While everyone may not have agreed with how they went about doing that, it should still be recognised. One person wrote: “William and Kate did not feel threatened by single Harry.
“Meghan came along and stops traffic with her looks and style, is well educated and articulate, has a history of charitable work, and drew much bigger crowds than the boring and predictable Kate. They couldn’t stand it.”
