Fans were let down ahead of WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV, as a scheduled match was changed. Rhea Ripley was originally set to face Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship, but an injury would change plans. This came after Ripley took a hard knee strike to the face, causing a concussion and jaw injury. However, another issue might have now also popped up – as Ripley has shared an image of herself wearing a heart monitor.
Rhea Ripley Is Wearing A Heart Monitor Now
The picture was shared to social media earlier tonight, with the caption “I’m Iron Man.” Having to wear a heart monitor is a bad sign as far as Ripley getting back into the ring. Ripley previously underwent dental work to repair damage to her teeth following the knee strike, and has only mentioned a ‘brain injury’, which could take her out of the ring for a while.
Ripley is just the latest wrestler to suffer injuries lately, with the likes of Big E, CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and more injured – just to name the top names from WWE & AEW. We can only hope Ripley is able to return to the ring soon. She’s recently joined the Judgement Day faction, originally led by Edge – but now containing Finn Balor & Damien Priest.
Recruiting Dominik Mysterio To Judgement Day?
Dominik Mysterio has also been teased to turn on his legendary father to join the faction, with Ripley recently posting the following to Twitter.
“Pathetic. @DomMysterio35 fathers don’t lie and “win” by playing possum, they do what needs to be done to eradicate the threat…Maybe if you’re lucky… I’ll be your Papi.”
