Elon Musk is as controversial as a man can be, and the recent period is full of happenings for him. He is in a $44 billion lawsuit for the Twitter acquisition, he has two more extramarital kids added to his family, and most recently he has a little brother added to his closest family.
He has a dream to send people to Mars. And he claims that we are not too far from accomplishing it. According to Musk, traveling to Mars might be possible within our lifetime.
One of his most ‘interesting’ dreams is that he wants to populate Mars. Yes, you read that well. To send enough people to start a population there. And for that, he claims we need more people.

Since the population in the world at the moment might be falling in some regions, he says that we need to reproduce as much as possible, so we can preserve the Earth, and furthermore, to have enough people for Mars.
This might seem like a joke to you. But it is not a joke for Musk. He is dead serious.
The fellow billionaire Mark Cuban has proof for it. On a recent podcast episode of “Shark Tank”, the billionaire shared a text message exchange between him and Musk after the birth of one of Musk’s kids.
“He had another kid, right? This was before the last three or whatever it was.” – Mark Cuban says referring to the daughter Musk had with Grimes and the twins he had with his Neuralink executive.
“I’m like, ‘Dude, congratulations, but how many are you going to have?'” – Cuban asked him jokingly. “He sends me a text back, ‘Mars needs people.'”
Elon Musk has nine children. He is obsessed with under-population and birthrate and seems to be taking the resolution to the issue into his own hands. However, he is not alone in this. He has a great deal of help from his father Errol Musk.
Errol Musk, Elon’s father is almost as controversial as his son. At least in his time internet usage was not so widely spread so the news didn’t spread so quickly. While in the 80s he claims he had a ‘ton of sex’ with different women. There is a period in his life when he has sex with a different woman each day. So he says it is ‘no wonder if anyone there claims that she had his child’.
“The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce.” – Errol Musk says in a recent interview.
Most probably he told this to his son a long time ago and he had taken it seriously. I wonder how many members does the Musk family count.
