Indi Hartwell is really trying to find her way in WWE without the aid of others. She’s one of the most tenured women on the roster, and a former tag champion – but has had limited singles success. Tonight, she steps into the ring with newcomer Arianna Grace – and has a chance to prove herself as a future contender.
Indi Hartwell Kicks Arianna Grace Out Of The Match
Grace would grab the wrist of Hartwell to start, before being taken right into a headlock. Hartwell would lose control, and Grace would stomp away in the corner before whipping Hartwell down to the mat. Rear chinlock would be applied, cranking back on the neck of Hartwell.
A lariat would follow Hartwell getting free, before a quick backdrop for a two count. Grace tried for a roll up with her feet on the ropes, but the referee caught her in the act. A running big boot from Hartwell would land, and this one was over. Not the most impressive performance from either wrestler here.
Tony D’Angelo’s Family Looks To Claim A Massive Win
Who is the strongest family in NXT? That’s the topic of discussion here, as Diamond Mine will meet The D’Angelo Family in eight man tag team action. Roderick Strong & Tony D’Angelo will be leading the charge, but The Creed Brothers are the real targets as NXT Tag Team Championships. Earlier in the night, we saw that Diamond Mine are back on the same page – and ready to bring the fight tonight.
Strong & D’Angelo would kick this fight off, before Strong would force D’Angelo out. Stacks would take the beating instead, forcing him into the corner before Julius Creed would toss him across the ring with a release suplex. D’Angelo would get back in and would be able to match the technical skills of Julius briefly, before taking a heavy lariat into the corner.
It’d explode into a big eight man brawl, with Julius being left in the ring with D’Angelo with Julius looking for the ankle lock. The Family would pull D’Angelo to safety, before Brutus jumped off the apron with a cannonball. During a picture in picture break, we’d see Wilde & Del Toro use their lucha libre skills to outspeed Brutus, before applying a tight side headlock.
Diamond Mine Gets A Miscue
Brutus would be able to fight free, and would send Wilde flying with a flapjack. Kemp would tag in and hit a rushing shoulder tackle, before a spinning scoop slam and jumping hip drop. Del Toro rushed in and would almost be slammed, before Wilde hit the chop block. Wilde would focus on that leg, before stomping him into the mat.
D’Angelo would take Kemp into the corner for a flurry of tags and stomps. Stacks would get a two count off a leg drop, before applying a single leg crab. Kemp fought free, and would look for the slingshot spear – but was foiled. However, he’d make the tag, and Julius would hit the ring like a one man wrecking crew, taking down anyone that dared step in his path before a German Suplex on D’Angelo.
Ankle Lock would be applied, but Stacks made the save before getting pounced. Del Toro & Wilde would cut Brutus down, before Julius & Strong would take them down with knee strikes and lariats. D’Angelo would avoid a knee strike, leading to Strong hitting Julius before the Fisherman Buster from D’Angelo for the win.
