Britney Spears has finally responded to Kevin Federline’s recent claims that their two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, have chosen not to visit her in ‘months’ and that they are embarrassed by the collection of nude selfies she posts to social media.
It saddens me to hear that my ex husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children,” the singer wrote on her Instagram stories. “As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone,” she admitted.

Britney’s attention then shifted to Kevin’s assertion that the boys do not approve of the content she posts to Instagram. “It concerns me the fact that the reason [why they don’t visit] is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram … I gave them everything … Only one word: HURTFUL … I’ll say it … My mother told me ‘You should GIVE them to their dad’ … I’m sharing this because I can … Have a good day folks!!!”.
Britney then added to her retort in a separate Instagram slide, saying, “I daringly would like for the Federline’s to watch the BIG BOOTY VIDEO!!!,” possibly referencing the raunchy music video for the song 2014 ‘Booty’ by Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea. Britney noted that many other people in the music industry are able to show off their bodies with little pushback. “Other artists have made much worse [content] when their children were extremely young !!!!,” she wrote.
Britney then tried to explain her reasoning for posting scantily-clad photos of herself online, saying, “During my conservatorship I was controlled and monitored for nearly 15 years … I needed permission just to take Tylenol !!! I should embark on doing WAAAY more going topless on the beach like a baby !!!! I’m not surprised that just as my family did their share of interviews, they will too. I’m not surprised at all with their behavior and their approach to what I’ve had to deal with!!!!”.
Since Britney was so strictly monitored under her conservatorship, she seems to be rebelling against conformity now that she is a free woman for the first time in her life. While exposing her body to the world via Instagram may be Britney’s way of expressing herself, it has proven to be a point of contention for her teenage sons.
Britney’s rebuttal comes after Kevin Federline’s bombshell interview with the Daily Mail in which he discussed the relationship (or lack thereof) between Britney and the two children they share together. “The boys have decided they are not seeing her right now,” Federline told the reporter in regards to the boys’ decision to not visit their mother. “It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.”
Federline also claimed that Sean Preston and Jayden James have a ‘tough’ time dealing with Britney’s frequent need to share nude pictures of herself with the world.
