Meghan Markle has been branded as very calculating in the way that she has dealt with Prince Harry and the Royal family.

That is according to Lady Colin Campbell. The former is a well-known author who has written extensively about the Royal family. This is in addition to the fact that she is a socialite.
With that being said, it appeared that Lady Campbell felt she was qualified to give her take on Meghan’s approach to the Royal family. In doing so, she questioned the Duchess of Sussex’s motives by suggesting that she was driven by fame and money.
In her comments, she said: “She’s very calculating and I think that if he had not been a Prince Henry of Wales, she wouldn’t have given him two minutes, much less the length of time she intends to give him.”
These comments seem to be based upon the following factors. First of all, she managed to sway Harry to leave the Royal family with her in 2020. But in doing so, the pair ended up relocating overseas to the US, miles away from his family.
Secondly, it is alleged that the option of a divorce provides Meghan with an opportunity to take a huge amount of Harry’s wealth. Lady Campbell’s following comments confirmed as much: “In the event of a divorce she gets a whopping 50%.
“This is a woman who, in my opinion, everything is calculated and it all comes down to status, and bucks and attention.”
The sentiment on social media was much the same. People were of the view that Meghan had planned things very carefully to exploit Harry. One person wrote: “Lady C is right.
“By bringing him to California and in the event of a divorce she takes half of what Harry’s money has bought, built and invested in. She couldn’t take half of frogmore or any crown estate.”
