Meghan Markle has been slammed for her comments surrounding the housing she was staying in during her 2019 South African Royal Tour with Prince Harry.
Ungrateful Meghan Slammed For Comments About Her ‘Housing Unit’ On Royal Tour-‘Nothing Ever Enough For Her,’ Says Royal Expert Angela Levin
The couple had engaged on the tour with their son Archie, which was spoken extensively about on Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ podcast. During the course of the process, the Duchess of Sussex mentioned a fire that had occurred in Archie’s nursery.
Luckily for her, though, Archie was not in the room. However, the manner in which Meghan referred to the house as a “housing unit” rubbed Angela up the wrong way.
In her comments, Angela said: “In her podcast Meghan called the High Commissioner’s mansion in South Africa where she Harry and Archie were staying a ‘housing unit’.
“Similar to when she dismissed her £32million wedding telling Oprah it was for the public as she wanted something ‘authentic.’ Nothing ever enough for her.”

Those comments would fit in line with the recent perception that Meghan has developed a victimhood mentality.
Her podcast was also criticised when she expressed dissatisfaction at having to go for a royal engagement following this fire, even though the fire had not actually affected Archie in any way.
And it was this tendency of looking ungrateful that did not resonate well with the fans on social media. A significant proportion of fans felt Meghan did not appreciate the benefits that she was exposed to during her time in the royals.
As such, they began to make rather brutal remarks about her lack of gratitude. One person wrote: “She’s a big brat. Plain & simple. Nothing is ever good enough. South Africans should be insulted by her words.”
While another person stated: “#MeghanMarkle podcast cost millions, took 2yrs & 28 staff, still ends up a boring rehash of overblown claims & more porkies.”
