Reports indicated that the pair were planning on renewing their vows in the US, which did come as a surprise since they have only been married for 4 years.
And yet, that would provide the pair with a perfect opportunity to rebrand themselves in light of their upcoming projects.
Harry’s tell-all memoir and Netflix documentary could include the details of this wedding vow renewal, while it also provides an opportunity to get some positive press in light of the negative response they received at the Platinum Jubilee.
After all, they did get a chorus of boos at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving.’ However, that did not sit well with royal expert Angela Levin. She felt this was a deliberate attempt to hurt the Royal family since the ceremony would be in the US.
In her comments, she said: “My view is that they want to show what a ‘real proper wedding’ is going to be like. They said they wanted something very American when their wedding was rather American.”

Nevertheless, Harry could not expect to do it anywhere else. He has made the US his home since leaving the UK, while his relations with the Royal family are at an all-time low.
The only compromise could be that Harry and Meghan extend an invitation to the Cambridges. William is expected to attend the US for the ‘Earthshot’ initiative this year.
But any chances of an invite are slim, as Angela questioned Harry and Meghan’s motives. Her following comments confirmed as much: “It is also because Harry loves America so much that they wanted to re-do it.
“In other words, I think if you read between the lines, it is ‘blow you’ in the UK.” Ultimately, Harry and Meghan have to do what is best for them even if that does not please everyone.
