Reportedly, Whitney Heard, Amber Heard’s sister didn’t like seeing Johnny Depp at the MTV Video Music Awards.
“MTV You’re disgusting and clearly desperate!” – Whitney Heard shared on her Instagram story. “I really hope that none of the people who made this call have daughters.”
She continues to support her sister even after the defamation trial. She finished the Instagram story with the hashtag ‘I stand with Amber Heard’.
Whitney Heard, Amber Heard’s Sister Has Something To Say About Johnny Depp’s MTV Music Awards Appearance
Johnny Depp appeared at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards in a quite unusual light. He was dressed as an astronaut, representing the ‘Moonman’. The Moonman is the statue that winners get at the event. The statue-like dressed actor then made an announcement joking that he is available for any kind of work.
“I just want you to know that I’m available for birthdays, bat mitzvahs, weddings, wakes, or whatever you need. You know what, I needed the job.” – Depp joked.
While the actor received ovations and loud applause after the performance, people cannot help but connect his words to the recent defamatory trial that he underwent.
According to critics, he was mocking his ex-wife Amber Heard, since she is not able to land any role since the defamation trial. She needs to pay $10 million to him in damages and she is desperate to find the money. Since no director is willing to have her on set, she received an offer to star in an adult movie.
The broad public, however, had somewhat divided opinions on his appearance. Some people were grossed out by the choice to put him in the role of the Moonman. In the end, he is guilty of 12 counts of male domestic abuse behavior after the lawsuit. Even though he won the trial, he was still abusive towards Heard.
Others cherished and celebrated his appearance as if they see a hero in him. Ultimately, Johnny Depp has some of the most hard-core fans in the world.
Amber Heard, on the other hand, is still busy with the lawsuit, or with the consequences of it. She recently hired a new legal team in a desperate try to fight off Depp once again. David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown are the first-class lawyers that will help her reach her goal.
Reportedly, the new legal team will use a completely different legal strategy, or should we say a different approach to the case. She is planning on launching this countersuit against Depp with one goal only. To avoid paying her dues. Or at least prolonging them.
