There’s plenty of fresh action happening in the WWE with so many possible storylines now that Triple H is bringing back those Vince McMahon mishandled and released, and Karrion Kross had the biggest return yet.
Dakota Kai and IYO SKY returning at SummerSlam with Bayley was a hard one to top, but on WWE Smackdown (August 5), Karrion Kross returned and ambushed Drew McIntyre, then issued a challenge to Roman Reigns when Scarlett placed the hour glass on the ring apron and turned it.
This had fans buzzing across the internet as Triple H fixed what Vince McMahon broke in five minutes, and McIntyre responded afterwards in his typical fashion.
Was I just jumped by the guy last seen wearing bondage and a helmet? I’ve had better Fridays…

Challengers on all sides
With McIntyre challenging for both titles at Clash at the Castle, it seems unlikely that he’s going to win though we could see it if it was for one championship.
This doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen, and we think under Vince’s leadership Reigns would’ve held onto the title until Cody Rhodes returned.
As it stands now, we think there’s a good chance Kross will take the Universal title off Reigns and end his streak at one of the next premium live events.
He’ll be the first one to hang a loss on the Tribal Thief, er, Chief that’s not a DQ to avoid losing the titles.
With Reigns’ win streak over, it’ll line up Reigns’ next opponent to take the WWE Championship from him and return it to Raw.
Moving to Raw
For that task, Cody seems perfect but we think it’ll be Seth Rollins, who has gone over 800 days since he last held a championship.
The USA network also reportedly demanded the WWE return a championship to Raw after the draft in the next month or so since Reigns is now a part timer.
This opens up the possibility of Reigns being drafted to Raw, or Rollins or McIntyre defeat him for the WWE Championship and are drafted to Raw.
With so many moving parts and possibilities, it’s all got to start somewhere and it looks like Kross could be the one to kick things into motion.
The landscape is shifting with Triple H in control of creative so the WWE isn’t as predictable as it was, and we expect to see more changes as more talent that was leg go is brought back until Triple H is happy with the roster and he can give us the type of show he feels comfortable with.
