Alexa Bliss is one of the best Superstars in the WWE and she’s shown us so many different characters, with her previous incarnation with Lily being among the most entertaining.
Since her return after a frustrating time away while she waited for the Vince McMahon led WWE Creative to have something for her after she had a sinus operation.
WWE Alexa Bliss has a New Character to Unveil When the Time is Right
Now, she’s back teaming with Asuka in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament as they’ve qualified for the second round.
While she’s been coming to the ring with her doll Lily, she’s currently not in character and just being herself, and this is something she talked about on a recent MackMania Podcast episode.
Looking for the right time
Alexa gave us a cool glimpse into some of her work as she talked about playing nine different characters, and how she has one she’s been working on for awhile but is waiting for the right time to unleash her.
“There is a version of me that I am dying to get to. It just hasn’t gotten there yet. I saw the collage — I try to stay off Twitter unless I’m complaining about something — I saw this collage of all these different characters I’ve been in WWE and I was like, ‘Man, I’ve been, like, nine different people.’ If you look at it, from my start to now, there have been nine different variations of how I look, how I act, how I speak.
“Right now, it’s just me. There has been something that I’ve been working on for quite a while that I really want to get out there, it’s just finding the right time, what the roster needs right now. It’s all about timing. For right now, it’s kind of just me, doing my thing with Asuka, which is a lot of fun. like I always say, Lexi is not for TV. I’m boring as a person. I feel on TV right now I’m boring, so I’m trying to regroup and reorganize things and get to where I want to be character-wise, for sure.”
Given how well she did with her Fiendess character, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us. And with Triple H giving the talent more leeway, it’s going to be a fun mix and execution of her idea.
Until then, we’re cheering her and Asuka on in their quest for the tag titles. In a way, their team is a refreshing change back to when people would team up just to see what happens, and it’s a great way to prepare us for what’s to come.
