On Thursday, September 1, 2022, Kylie Jenner’s company posted a picture of a child’s baby blue brush sitting on top of a towel that featured embroidered white clouds on it. The tiny and cute brush featured the outline of a cloud and the name “Kylie Baby” on the handle, but fans and followers noticed something “embarrassing” about the ad. The new ad for Kylie’s baby line promotes the child’s detangling hair brush designed for dry and wet hair, and also suitable for all hair types.

However, some fans couldn’t help but point put something strange about the ad, while other commenters noticed a blunder with the product – the baby brush was missing a bristle, which fans consider as an “embarrassing” mistake. One commenter said, “It’s really bothering me that the brush is missing a bristle.” Another person said, “12 dollars with one [bristle] missing.”
Someone added, “THERE’S A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE!” Another commenter condemned the ad, saying “Imagine advertising with a bristle missing.” “Am I the only one hyper-fixated on that one missing piece?” someone also asked. Some other people in the comment section also said they feel the missing brittle is intentional as a lot of hair brushes have a missing brittle so that air flows while brushing the hair. This backlash is coming after another ad for the same line was criticized.
The previous ad featured Kylie and her four-year-old daughter with Travis Scot, Stormi Webster. The little girl sat on her Kylie’s lap while she applied lotion to her leg. Mother and daughter sat on a cloud with the reality TV star wearing a pastel blue dress and her daughter wearing a baby blue robe. Products were spread out beside them in pastel and blue packaging.
The post read, “Kylie Baby is coming to the UK! Launching at @theofficialselfridges this Thursday, September 1.” However, fans accused little Stormi Webster of stealing the spotlight, demanding to know where Kylie and Travis have been hiding their son. “Where’s the baby boy?” one commenter asked, “Where’s the new baby?” another said, and someone also commented, “She’s looking like ‘girl you know we don’t use this at home.’“
