Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to leave the UK as soon as possible following the conclusion of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Harry And Meghan Will Leave The UK ASAP Now That Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral Is Over-Nothing To Keep Them Here
The couple ultimately arrived in the UK in order to attend two charitable events: The ‘Young One World Summit’ and the ‘Well Child Awards.’ While the former event went ahead, the latter was canceled due to the late monarch’s sudden passing.
And now that the funeral has been concluded, the couple want to go back to the United States in order to be with their children.
A source confirmed the following: “Meghan and Harry are preparing to return to Montecito almost immediately after the funeral.
“They’ll be reunited with Archie and Lilibet after being separated for over two weeks, the longest amount of time they’ve been apart from their children.”
They should not come as a surprise, as the children have reportedly been residing with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
And since the couple are no longer working royals, it makes more sense to return, especially if a reconciliation with the royals cannot be reached. Not only that, but the pair already have their own ventures.
Meghan is busy with her ‘Archetypes’ podcast on Spotify, and if it were to include further digs at the royals, it would make much more sense to do it in the United States.
In addition, Harry’s tell-all memoir is expected to come out soon, which once again would make things easier if he were in the US. But through it all, it is ultimately the children that come first.
The following comments confirmed as much: “They’ve missed the kids like crazy and have been FaceTiming them every day, but can’t wait to see and hold them again after a poignant few weeks.”
Time will tell how the Sussexes proceed with the royals now that the funeral is over. Perhaps, this is a time to change things. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
