Presenter and actress Kerri-Anne Kennerley has bashed Meghan Markle for continuing to speak out against the Royal Family since her exit in 2020.
Presenter Kerri-Anne Kennerley Bashes Selfish Meghan Markle-‘I Would Never Do That To My Family’
Kerri’s grievances centred around Meghan’s controversial Oprah Winfrey interview. During the course of that process, the Duchess of Sussex made a series of damning disclosures, including claims that someone in the Royal Family had reservations about son Archie’s skin colour.
Meanwhile, Meghan also admitted that she was driven to having suicidal thoughts. Regardless of whether that was true, Kerri took issue with the fact that it was aired publicly.
In her comments, Kerri said: “I find it very, very sad that [Meghan] has to publicly wash dirty linen in public. I just… I would never do that to my family.
“Meghan seems to think that the world should know all the ins and outs and deeply personal things that are said within family walls. Whether you’re a royal or not, they’re deeply personal things in a family.”
The timing of the interview was also very controversial. It coincided with the deterioration in the health of the late Prince Philip, who would then go on to pass away at the age of 99.
And as Meghan did not attend the funeral, it did rub further salt into the wounds. In addition, Kerri criticised the approach as she felt Meghan was going ahead with these revelations in order to generate money.
Her lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix were testament to that. Kerri’s following comments confirmed as much: “You shouldn’t go blabbing. I don’t care how much money she’s making. It would be unfortunate in any family.”
The response on social media was much the same. A significant proportion of people could not forget how much damage Meghan had caused to the firm.
One person wrote: “Meghan doesn’t know the respect, loyalty and decency. She’s gross and a dangerous narcissist and obviously a liar.”
