Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been bashed for being hypocrites.
Harry And Meghan Branded Hypocrites-‘Wanting His Cake And Eating It Too,’ Says Royal Expert Hilary Forwich
That is according to royal expert Hilary Forwich. This centres around the fact that the couple were looking to retain some of the benefits of being a working royal, as well as distancing themselves from the firm altogether.
This has been seen through reports surrounding tensions between royal titles for their children, as well as Harry’s request to have adequate security when visiting the UK. With that being said, Hilary slammed the pair for their self- entitlement.
In her comments, she said: “Prince Harry has a penchant for ‘wanting his cake and eating it too. He would like royal protection, access and attendance at royal family events so that he can tattletale.
“Yet, at the same time, wants ‘his privacy’ all whilst hiring three PR firms?” This has resulted in suggestions that the couple are looking to set up their very own version of the Royal Family in the United States.
Piers Morgan has been a massive critic of such an idea, which may explain why the couple are continuing to associate themselves with the royals in their controversial interviews, as seen with Oprah Winfrey and The Cut.
That has not gone down very well, as the pair made it very clear on their exit that they wanted to avoid the media scrutiny. But they have done anything but that, which has resulted in lucrative deals with Spotify and Netflix.
Royal expert Shannon Felton also had this to say: “Everything they want is part of the benefit package at the job. They quit the job.”
Whatever Harry and Meghan end up doing, they will always have some connection to the Royal Family. But if they fail to rebrand and proceed ahead with their own ventures that completely exclude the royals, then they will always have some backlash.
And that is the harsh reality of it all. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
