New Details in the Murder of Taylor Pomaski Points to Kevin Ware Jr Burning the Body to Avoid ID by Authorities
Prior to Pomaski disappearing Ware was arrested earlier that month after being stopped for speeding and possession of drugs and firearms. He would post his $23,000 bond the following day on April 20, 2021. Eight days later, he reportedly had a physical altercation with Pomaski at a party.
It was that night when Kevin Ware Jr allegedly stabbed Taylor Pomaski with a knife, beat her with a blunt object, and then strangled her to death, according to Harris County court records.
While he was charged with murder and felony possession of a weapon, he was also hit with tampering with a corpse for burning Pomaski’s body to keep authorities from making a positive ID on her remains.
Ware was booked into Harris County on September 7, 2022 and his court date is scheduled for December 13, 2022.
