There’s quite a few teams gunning for tag team supremacy here tonight as part of NXT Worlds Collide – as the NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers & NXT UK Tag Team Champions Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen both defend their belts. However, Pretty Deadly & Gallus are also in the mix here tonight – making for a massive tag team Fatal Four Way match, and the winner takes all the gold.
It’s an all-star match from the tag divisions of these two brands, and anyone could walk away draped in gold here. Ahead of this match, Roderick Strong would be attacked in the parking lot – meaning the champions only have Damon Kemp in their corner tonight.
An All Out Brawl To Start This Match
There was nearly a brawl before the champions even hit the ring, and this would officially be named as an elimination rules match. Creed Brothers set this one into a brawl between eight men, and it took four referees to separate them so this match could officially start. Julius would start this match off with Briggs, hitting a quick set of suplexes before taking some hammer fists to the neck and back.
Dumping sidewalk slam would land, before a jumping senton. Brutus tried to hit the ring, but was run down with a shoulder tackle. Wolfgang got the tag, before Jensen tagged himself in. Fallon Henley & Lash Legend got into a scrap at ringside, and this turned into a full on brawl. Pretty Deadly went after the champions, but were sent outside and hit with a flying Jensen.
Mark Coffey would fly next, before Brutus wanted the cannonball into the sea of challengers. Wolfgang would stop this, and hit a superplex on Brutus. Jensen hit the ring with the Fame Asser – and Coffey got the last minute save.Gallus would eliminate Briggs & Jensen, making this one a three team affair.
Pretty Deadly would brawl with Gallus, and almost got the pinfall with an inside cradle. Coffey would hit a full nelson slam, but took a throat thrust from Prince. A jumping kick would rock Prince, before Brutus tagged back in. Brutus would smash Prince from the ring before a Brutus Bomb styles Doomsday Device and sliding lariat eliminated Gallus.
The Creed Brothers & Pretty Deadly Left Standing
Brutus would trade blows with Elton in the middle of the ring, before a gutbuster from Prince got the two count. Pretty Deadly would isolate Brutus in their corner, and try to stomp through his chest. A snap DDT got a two count, and Brutus had his knee stomped before he’d make the tag to Julius.
Some big suplexes and spinebusters would follow, before Prince applied a sleeper hold. Up the ramp, the eliminated teams would brawl as Julius would flaunt his power with a deadlift vertical suplex. He’d backflip off the top rope before an angle slam. The referee was dropped in the brawl at ringside, before Prince hit a stiff dropkick.
Julius hit a spinebuster, before Kemp would stop a chair shot from Wilson. He’d hit Julius himself before nailing a backbreaker. With Julius down and betrayed, the referee was shoved into the ring – and Pretty Deadly claimed the victory. They’re now two time NXT UK & NXT Champions, and the first Unified NXT Tag Team Champions.
