Mandy Rose has had an extremely hard time getting into the head of Wendy Choo. It’s hard to influence the actions of someone who simply doesn’t care who they are facing. Tonight, Rose will have to defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Choo – despite the fact that their recent face to face encounter with being put through a table. Choo could well be the one to end the reign of Rose, and maybe even send her right out of NXT in the process.
Mandy Rose Gets Pushed To Her Limits
Choo would use a slingshot before the bell to annoy Rose, before throwing some heavy forearm smashes. Rose would hit a spear into the corner, before Choo came back to a kick to the chest. Nap time elbow would be dodged, before Rose would take control of the match.
Snapmare into body scissors would follow, but Choo fought her way free with a series of back elbow smashes. Rose would hit the right hand to the nose, before Choo got a roll up for a two count. Release back suplex would follow, getting Rose a near fall.
Rose would apply an Octopus Stretch, before looking for a roll up and getting blocked. Choo would hit the Belly To Belly Suplex, before a handspring elbow smash and the Nap Time Elbow. Rose would slip out of the ring, before taking a baseball slide dropkick.
Handspring elbow on the floor would be caught into a spinebuster on the ramp and nearly got a count out. Back in the ring, Rose hit a second spinebuster, but just got a two count. Choo would block a knee strike using her body pillow, before Rose tore it up – and took a dropkick in the process.
Choo would hit the Death Valley Bomb, and would look to apply the Crossface Chickenwing. Rose would start to fade, before Choo let go to go for the moonsault. She would be stopped, and nailed with the running knee strike for the finish. Rose remains NXT Women’s Champion!
The Creed Brothers Must Become Champions To Remain In Diamond Mine
Pretty Deadly have made the jump from NXT UK in a big way, able to win the NXT Championships on their first night with NXT 2.0. This came at the expense of Creed Brothers, who had fought to the final match of the gauntlet match. Now tonight, The Creed Brothers truly have their back against the wall. Roderick Strong has threatened to kick them out of Diamond Mine if they don’t win tonight’s title match, and he isn’t known for joking about.
Brutus would start with Prince, but missed a blind tag, allowing Wilson to take early control. The power of Brutus would serve him well with a set of mat returns, before he’d simply toss Wilson across the ring. Wilson would try to attack Julius Creed to get into his head, and it worked.
Slipping out of the ring and back in, Wilson would get a chance to stomp on Julius before tagging in Prince. The power of Julius would be on full display with some more slams, before The Creed Brothers hit German Suplexes in tandem. Pretty Deadly slipped out of the ring, and had a chance to regain their composure.
Julius Creed Shows A New Level Of Skill To Claim The Win
Back into the ring, Julius would take Prince down to the mat into an arm bar. The Creed Brothers would once again get outplayed by Pretty Deadly, with a false tag allowing for a cheap shot on Julius. Brutus would tag into the match, and The Creed Brothers would ping pong Wilson with knee strikes to the ribs.
Quick tags would keep Julius & Brutus fresh, before Pretty Deadly would hit a double team elbow drop. Julius would hit a spinebuster on Wilson, before Brutus chucked Prince off the top rope. Sliding Lariats were set, but Pretty Deadly fled the ring.
Pretty Deadly would look for the double suplex, before Prince would apply the chinlock on Julius. Wilson would get the tag and hit a flying elbow drop to the back. Julius tried to push for the tag, and Prince was unable to keep him back.
Brutus would run Prince down, before throwing him into his partner. German Suplex landed, before Brutus would go up top for the BrutusBall. Wilson would make the save, and Julius was slid the NXT Tag Team belt. He’d think better of using the belt, before Brutus slammed Wilson down. Julius hit a Shooting Star Press and sliding lariat for the win.
