For those who didn’t know, 50 Cent has a 25-year-old son, Marquise Jackson. The rapper and his son are not in a great relationship for the greater part of Marquise’s life. But now, after quite some time, the son offered to bury the axe and better his relationship with his dad. For the wasted time of the rapper, Marquise even offered to pay $6700, the exact amount of 1 month of child support that 50 Cent pays.
While this seems like a fair offer, things are not as they seem. Taking into consideration all the past events between the father and son, this is yet another thy to extort as much money as possible from 50 Cent.

To grab his father’s attention, the 25-year-old Marquise Jackson revisited 50 Cent’s famous ‘Broke’ photo where the rapper is pictured sitting next to piles of money, forming the word ‘Broke’. Marquise’s photo has a resemblance to the original one, but instead of the word broke, he wrote ‘Entitled’. Marquise Jackson created a major buzz on social media and this most certainly reached his father.
“Since y’all think $6,700 is sooo much money someone tell my pops I will pay him $6,700 for just 24hr of his time so we can do everything I ever wanted to do with him as a kid.” – Marquise Jackson said. “Red Yellow Green whatever color he like.”
This far cry for attention by Marquise comes right after he annoyed 50 Cent by stating that $80 000 a year is not enough for him. He indirectly asked 50 Cent for more money. His mother, Shaniqua Tompkins receives this amount in child support per annum.
In an Instagram live story, the rapper’s son told his followers that $6700 monthly is not enough. The cost of living has gone up and as a result, he started lacking money to pass the month. Finally. with this money, he can barely afford the essentials.
“$6700 a month in … New York City, you do the math. But, you’re talking about a Forbes lister. You’re talking about someone that has problems with everybody.” – Marquise said in his Instagram story. ‘You can’t just live in any neighborhood. Furthermore, $81 000 is not a substantial amount of money, you can’t just live anywhere.”
“You talking about you got beef with everybody in the industry, you can’t just live anywhere.” – he continued. “If I say you gotta start your life over right now with $6700 a month and rebuild your life. Can you do it?”
In 2020, 50 Cent, spoke about his son in an interview with Van Lathan. He referred to him as a ‘snake’. He pointed out that he never thought that success would estrange him from Marquise. However, that is exactly what happened.
“I didn’t think that success would cost me my first-born, but it’s the situation it is. My grandfather used to say, ‘If it rattles like a snake and slithers like a snake, is it a snake or do you need to be bit?’. What he keeps saying is, every time you see him he is with somebody you got a problem with. What does that tell you?” – 50 Cent told the interviewer about his son.
