Willow Nightingale is on fire right now in AEW, and after getting the pinfall in a trios match on AEW Dynamite? She’d call out Jade Cargill for a shot at the TBS Championship. Cargill is once again looking to maintain her perfect undefeated record and remain the TBS Champion – but Willow is someone with nothing to lose, and everything to gain. It sometimes just takes one hot streak to get someone to the next stage of their career, and Willow seems ready to prove that tonight.
Jade Cargill Gets Pushed To The Limit By Willow Nightingale
Willow would be fast to hit the ring, not wanting to waste time getting into the biggest match of her career. Cargill would be at 583 days undefeated with a 38-0 record in her career, and had nothing but confidence as she kissed the belt and passed it to referee Aubrey Edwards. They’d lock up hard as the bell rang, with Cargill shoving Willow into the corner.
Willow would shove back and get the headlock applied, but Cargill was able to fight free. The uppercut in the corner would follow, before Willow would hit a dropkick, lariat, and hit the suplex for a two count. Willow would duck a lariat from Cargill and shoved the champion out to the floor – before a suicide dive caught Kiera Hogan & Leila Gray – the baddies saving Cargill.
Cargill would catch Willow in a wheelbarrow and slam her face first off the steel steps. Back in the ring, Willow was rocked – but had a moment to recover. Cargill would hit a snap suplex and spring back to her feet – before hitting a forearm smash to the side of the face. Sleeper Hold would be applied – and Willow would fire up to break free, only to take a clubbing blow to the neck.
Some beil tosses would send Willow across the ring, before Cargill got cocky with some pushups. Willow would respond with a lariat, before a headscissor takedown. Running chop would be followed by a cannonball senton and the dropkick. Babe With The Powerbomb would be blocked, and Cargill hit a powerslam, before Jaded for the victory.
After the bell, Nyla Rose would steal the TBS Championship – setting up herself as the next challenger. Can Rose be the one to finally beat Cargill? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
