JoJo Siwa has admitted that she has put her recent feud with Candace Cameron Bure behind her.
JoJo Siwa Admits She Has Put Her Social Media Feud With Candace Cameron Bure Behind Her
The star initially butted heads with Candace following her TikTok post in which she described her as the ‘rudest’ celebrity she had ever met.
During the course of that process, Siwa expanded on how she felt she had been shunned when Candace did not take a picture with her during the premiere of her show, ‘Fuller House.’
And given that Siwa was 11 at the time, coupled with the fact that Candace had apparently taken photos with other children, this did not sit well with her. But after having exchanged messages, they have now moved on.
In her comments, JoJo said: “I’ll be honest. I haven’t spoken to her at all since the whole thing [went down]. I think she’s alive and thriving. I think I’m alive and thriving.
“We’re…civil? I don’t know. I’ve got like three problems since that one so we’re moved on.” Much in the same way, Candace has spoken positively about the whole experience since then.
She is a Christian, and this is something that did come across in her words when she responded in the aftermath of speaking to Siwa.
After all, since Siwa was very young at the time, it is understandable if she did take things in a manner that was not necessarily the intention.
But through it all, things ended up being cordial. Candace’s following comments confirmed as much: “We had a great conversation.” Despite things appearing fine on the surface, the fact they have not spoken to each other since does speak volumes.
There is a perception that they simply do not get on with each other, which is why it is best to keep things in a cordial fashion, as any chances of a genuine friendship appear slim.
So as long as the pair are in a good place, then that is the most important thing. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
