Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of ‘The View’ made a bizarre comment about having sex with some ghosts.
Joy Behar Admits Having Sex With Ghosts
The comments were made in relation to the members of the show reviewing a video clip of a woman who alleged that she had some ‘sexual ghosts’ in her house.
During the course of that process, the conversation turned very quickly when fellow panel member Sara Haines stated the following: “If you have sex with a ghost, can you get pregnant?” to which Joy replied: “I’ve had sex with a few ghosts and never got pregnant.”
It was clear these comments were most likely made in jest, especially in light of the following reasons. First of all, Joy recently confirmed that she would be extending her stay on the show after having signed a new contract.
Therefore, it would make sense for her to come out with such controversial statements in order to justify her role and boost the ratings.
Secondly, she just so happened to have celebrated her 80th birthday recently. And in keeping with that, Joy certainly generated all the headlines even if her co-stars were taken aback by her comments.
When reacting to what Joy had to say, Whoopi Goldberg responded with the following: “I’m just gonna let that ride. I don’t know how many of you just heard what Joy just said, but I’m going to let it ride.”
The fans on social media could not help but troll Joy over her comments. And in the process of doing so, people began to make derogatory remarks over her appearance.
One person wrote: “No wonder. She’s dressed like Shaggy from Scooby Doo,” while another person stated: “I feel bad for the ghosts.”
It is fair to say that Joy’s comments did not resonate well with the public even if she was attempting to come across as humorous. Perhaps next time it would be wiser to refrain from making such comments.
