Kate Middleton had a little joke at her husband, Prince William’s expense as the pair took over a radio show for the day.
Kate Middleton ‘Giggled’ At William’s Voiceover During Radio Hosting Gig-‘You’ve Done A Very Good Job!’
The Prince and Princess of Wales had the honour of being guest hosts of ‘BBC Newsbeat.’ This occurred on Tuesday, 11th October 2022 as part of World Mental Health Day.
That event is designed to educate, raise awareness and tackle the stigma associated with mental health. During the course of that process, the pair were assisted by host Pria Rai.
And once they had concluded their duties, Rai praised William for his efforts. In her comments, she said: “You can come back. You’ve done a very good job!”
This was something that Middleton did bear in mind when William signed off from the show in the closing moments. In and amongst, however, the Duke of Cambridge could not help but try out a variety of voices to show off his skills.
And in the process of doing so, Kate did have a laugh at his expense. Her following comments confirmed as much: “Please use all three [voices],” as she giggled.
But on a much more serious note, the couple did manage to discuss extensive issues surrounding mental health. William spoke on the importance of having a ‘toolbox’ that would allow people to have the necessary skills to tackle a mental health crisis.
This includes having a balance between your personal and professional life, which only becomes more complicated once children are involved. And this is something that William felt he understood all too well.
He stated: “The relation between the job and the personal life was what really took me over the edge. You start to take away bits of the job and keep them in your body…You just don’t want to bring that sort of stuff home.”
William and Kate may be leading royals, but a career in radio is perhaps still some way off. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
