According to reports, the Princess of Wales is set to appear in Boston in December alongside her husband Prince William for the Earthshot Initiative.
This event is designed to pay homage to those that have taken steps to provide solutions to environmental problems by giving them cash prizes.
While that may be the case, there were always going to be question marks over whether or not there would be a meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. With that being said, it appears Kate may offer a hand of friendship.
A source confirmed the following: “Once Kate and William’s Boston plans are set in stone, she’s planning to extend an olive branch to Meghan in a bid to reunite the brothers and heal the rift.”
This begs the question: how realistic is this possibility? Well, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, there is a chance that the whole family could now reunite and put their grievances aside.
The funeral had clearly shown that there was a lot of pain on both sides, as Meghan was visibly pictured shedding some tears.
In addition, it is alleged that all sides are looking to navigate their hectic schedules, so that there is some space left for people to meet up.
The following comments confirmed as much: “[Prince] Harry and Meghan are knee-deep with their hectic schedules, but Meghan is willing to put in the effort as long as dates don’t clash.”
The fans on social media welcomed this prospect. A certain subset of people were hopeful that this could finally see an end to the poor relations.
One person wrote: “For the sake of the brothers I hope she is successful. Not in any way on behalf of Meghan.” Time will tell if this does materialise.
