King Charles III’s latest photograph shows there is no way back for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to ever rejoin the Royal Family.
King Charles III’s Photo Shows Harry And Meghan Are No Longer Important
That is according to editor Richard Kay. The photograph had allegedly been taken the night before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. And as part of that process, it was clear that there was a new Fab Four in town.
The photo depicted Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton. As such, Harry and Meghan were not seen as part of the firm, as their absence was noticeable.
This fitted in line with Charles’ first speech to the nation in which he stated that he wished Harry and Meghan the best with their lives ‘overseas.’ With that being said, it was clear that the Sussexes were now not welcome.
In his comments, Richard said: “It surely can be no coincidence that the picture was taken when the couple were still in Britain and several days before they returned home to their children Archie and Lilibet.
“It must, therefore, be yet another signal that they will never again return to their central role in royal life.” Nevertheless, the comments should be taken with a pinch of salt.
First of all, it could be argued that the photograph was merely for working royals. And as Harry and Meghan no longer fit that criteria, there would be no justification for having them in the photo.
Secondly, even if they were not included, who is to say that there can never be a return to the firm. After all, who knows what could happen later down the line.
And yet, the fans on social media made their position very clear. A certain subset felt it was a message sent by the monarch that the Sussexes were done. One person wrote: “Don’t want them back!”
This is perhaps something that the Sussex Squad will have to get used to. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
