Meghan Markle has been left disappointed by the backlash that she has received over her comments about being a briefcase model on ‘Deal or No Deal.’

During the course of her ‘Archetypes’ podcast, the Duchess of Sussex recalled how she felt ‘objectified’ during her time on the show.
So much so that she referenced herself to being viewed as a bimbo, defined as an attractive but an unintelligent woman. Those comments raised a lot of backlash from those connected to the show.
Former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ star Claudia Jordan responded by making it absolutely clear that she never felt the game show had treated anyone like ‘bimbos.’
This was on the basis that the show offered an opportunity to people that they would not have otherwise had in getting some exposure.
In addition, Meghan also came across in a negative light after she had taken an acting role in the show ‘90210,’ which appeared contrary to her stance on objectification.
During the course of her appearance, she played the character of Wendy. Her role saw her sitting with the character of Ethan in a car, as there were suggestions that she had given him oral sex, as his girlfriend, Annie, caught them from a distance.
Despite that being the case, Meghan has not taken well to the criticism simply because she spoke her truth. A source confirmed the following: “This negative backlash is extremely disappointing to Meghan.
“She knows that there are certain critics who will go to great lengths to stir the pot and call her out as a hypocrite in any way possible.”
The fans on social media felt that Meghan had nobody to blame but herself since her actions did not often correlate with her words. One person wrote: “Can this woman go one day without claiming she’s the victim of something?”
