Following the release of her Archetypes podcast on Tuesday on Spotify, friends of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, praised her on social media and expressed support for her most recent project. Her close pal, Serena Williams in an Instagram tribute, expressed how important it was for her to be the first guest while sharing a picture of her with her four-year-old daughter, Olympia, and Meghan.
She captioned the photo, saying, “I loved talking about so many important things with my close friend Meghan as her first guest on #archetypes for @spotify.” It’s out now and worth listening to, especially if you’re ambitious.
“So proud of you M!” Proud Friends Celebrate The Duchess Of Sussex
Daniel Martin, a makeup artist who assisted Meghan on her wedding day, expressed his happiness that the world will get to know his buddy of ten years better. “Finally an opportunity for the world to hear who I’ve known for the past 10+ years. An opportunity to discover and learn about the labels that have held women back through poignant and thoughtful discussions from historians to close friends,” Martin posted online.
Meghan Markle’s Friends Storm Social Media To Celebrate Her Podcast, “Archetypes”
“So proud of you M!” Abigail Spencer applauded her former Suits co-star for “continuing to break barriers and pave the way for all women everywhere,” while writer and television producer Lindsay Jill Roth expressed her satisfaction in her old friend’s “courage” and “vulnerability.” The Duchess of Sussex’s 18-year friend and actress Janina Gavankar posted a link to Archetypes on her Instagram Story. Mandana Dayani, president of Archewell, also praised the podcast’s success and the Spotify drop.
Dayani posted a message online, saying, “So grateful everyone gets to finally hear again from the kind, brilliant, compassionate leader I get to work with every day.” “Congrats to our amazing team at Archewell Audio – very proud to rip apart these boxes.” Meghan spoke into a microphone while seated on a couch and stated, “People should expect the real me in this, and probably the me that they’ve never gotten to know — certainly not in the past few years, where everything is through the lens of the media as opposed to, ‘Hey, it’s me.’
” She smiled and continued, “I’m just excited to be myself and talk and be unfiltered and…yeah, it’s fun.” A “multi-year agreement” between Spotify and their production company Archewell Audio was initially disclosed by Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry in 2020. Archetypes plans to “investigate the labels that try to hold women back,” according to a press release that was previously distributed.
Meghan states she will “uncover the origin of these stereotypes and have uncensored conversations with women who know all too well how these typecasts shape narratives.”
