Anderson Silva is one of the most popular and most loved people who ever fought in the octagon. Paddy Pimblett is certain that he will once again stand up to his name and knockout Jake Paul within three rounds. According to Pimblett, his age of 47 years old is not gonna present an issue at all.
Paddy Pimblett believes that Anderson Silva will be the toughest match that Jake Paul has had until now. The Brazilian has all the advantages entering the match. He is taller than Jake Paul, he has a longer reach and he is on a winning streak at the moment.
Paddy Pimblett Is Sure That Anderson Silva Will Destroy Jake Paul And Will KO Him In Three Rounds
Paddy Pimblett spoke about the upcoming October fight on his podcast Chatton’ Pony. As a guest for the episode, he had a UFC legend, Tito Ortiz.
Tito Ortiz knows what Jake Paul is dealing with firsthand. Last year, Anderson Silva knocked him out cold within one round of their boxing match. Tito Ortiz is usually a supporter of the Pauls, however, this time he confesses that Jake’s chances of winning are really slim.
“Silva is one of the best strikers in MMA history.” – Tito Ortiz said. “He’s coming up on the fight now against Jake Paul. I don’t think Jake Paul’s gonna make it out of three rounds. That’s my opinion. But I think it’s going to be a great fight. I know Jake Paul puts in great work.”
“If Jake Paul thinks him being 47 is going to make a difference, then he’s going to be in for a rude awakening. One thing about Anderson Silva is that he takes this sport very seriously. I know he doesn’t drink, he doesn’t party, he’s a family man and all he does is eat, sleep, trains, and then family. For Jake Paul to say that he’s 47, age is not even a factor for Anderson. When he gets to 50, 51, maybe 52 then yes but not at 47. I’m 47 and I feel like I’m 35. I feel great, I’m healthy, I’m strong and for sure age is going to not be a factor in this fight, no way.”
Jake Paul hasn’t fought in the ring for about a year. His most recent fight is against Tyron Woodley in December of 2021 where he won by a knockout. His record is 5-0-0, and four out of his five wins are by a knockout.
Anderson Silva on the other hand comes with a record of 3-1-0. He is coming straight from a win against Tito Ortiz in September of 2021. In addition to his boxing career, Anderson Silva has an MMA record of 34-11-1. JHe is valued as one of the best champions that roamed the UFC octagon.
