Prince Harry and Meghan Markle come across as two moaners.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Serial Moaners-‘They Come Across As Quite Whingy,’ Says Esther Krakue
That is according to commentator Esther Krakue. It is no secret that the couple have complained about the treatment that they were subjected to during their time in the Royal Family.
This was summed up by their controversial Oprah Winfrey interview, despite having made it clear that they left the royals in order to get away from press intrusion.
So the Oprah interview, coupled with Meghan’s interview with ‘The Cut’ went against that sentiment. This has now led to them having a reputation for being serial complainers. In her comments, Esther said: “They come across as quite whingy.”
This has not resonated well with the British public in light of the current economic circumstances. The pandemic has disrupted the livelihoods of many people, which is why the couple appear out of touch.
After all, they are living in a multi-million mansion in Montecito, California. As such, the last thing that people expected to hear is the difficulties that the couple may be going through when people are struggling with the cost of living.
Furthermore, others have questioned why they continue to mention the Royal Family which is the same institution that they were seeking to distance themselves from.
In addition, it is the very same institution that gave them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles which has no doubt helped their brand overseas.
The fans on social media were in agreement with this sentiment. A significant proportion of people slammed the pair for not being relatable. And in the process, the comments were brutal.
One person wrote: “Those two are truly out and will never be trusted again!! They showed, once again, that they just care about themselves.”
It is clear that the Sussexes need to rebrand their image, but as to how they go about that is anyone’s guess. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
