Prince Harry is apparently obsessed with trying to remain relevant in the aftermath of his royal exit in 2020 with Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry Is ‘Obsessed’ In Trying To Remain Relevant-Says Royal Author Valentine Low
That is according to royal author Valentine Low. This claim centres around the apparent threat that Prince George may pose to Harry since he is seen as the future of the monarchy going forward after Prince William.
And given that Harry is no longer a working member of the Royal Family, his influence has dwindled somewhat. This is despite his recent ventures such as the Invictus Games and the One Young World Summit appearance which were seen as attempts to carry out public service as an alternative to royal duties.
And as George has been primed for royal duties at a very young age, as seen by his various appearances at sporting events such as Wimbledon, that has apparently left Harry feeling unnerved.
In his comments, Valentine said: “He [Prince Harry] had this thing about his shelf-life. He was obsessed with the idea that, as he grew older, people just wouldn’t care about him anymore.
“Prince George would grow up and he would become the new thing.” And by the looks of it, this could be the case. The Duke of Sussex has become highly unpopular as a result of his conduct prior to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
During the course of that process, it is claimed he turned down the opportunity to see her at Balmoral prior to her passing. In addition, other reports stressed that Harry arrived too late in order to see her final moments.
In reality, Harry is on a different trajectory to George. And the fact that his children have not gotten the opportunity to mingle with Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children due to the poor relations, that gap is only going to widen.
And that could make Harry irrelevant going forward if he fails to establish himself. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
