Prince Harry revealed how his dogs are keeping him in a good place.
Prince Harry Speaks On The Importance Of His Dogs Keeping His Mental Health In A Good Place-‘We All Need A Dog’
It is fair to say the Duke of Sussex has had a rollercoaster of a ride when it comes to events in his personal life. His poor relations with the Royal Family were highlighted even further following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
During the course of that process, Harry allegedly turned down the opportunity to see her at Balmoral prior to her passing. And with the funeral now done, it is understandable if he has been left with some regrets.
It is not surprising, then, that Harry looked at animals as a source of comfort, especially in light of his and Meghan’s recent decision to adopt a bugle by the name of Mia.
The couple have a reported three dogs, which has kept them busy. Much in the same way, Harry expressed his fondness for dogs when he was speaking to Isabelle Delaney.
The 13-year-old just so happened to be the winner of the ‘Inspirational Young Person’ award. And as part of that process, Harry marveled at her assistant dog called Hope.
In a conversation with Isabelle, Harry said: “We all need a dog that keeps us calm. I’ve got three in this house now.
“And between the three of them, they charge around chasing squirrels and causing all sorts of problems to us every single day. But they are also emotional support dogs.”
This appeared to be a similar approach adopted by Queen Elizabeth II. It is alleged that her son Prince Andrew had given her a dog following the passing of her husband Prince Philip.
Although nothing would take away the anguish that she would have been feeling, it does demonstrate the importance of animals that those connected to royalty have. After all, Queen Elizabeth II was also known for her love of ponies too.
So will Harry end up adding more dogs to his current collection? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
