Prince William and Kate Middleton are allegedly excited as they prepare to visit the United States in December this year.
William And Kate ‘Excited’ For Their US Trip
The pair are set to visit Boston, as part of the Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit. This is designed to pay homage to those that have taken steps to protect the environment.
This includes handing out prizes to five people that total up to £1 million to reward their efforts in coming up with solutions for environmental problems.
This is a significant landmark for the couple since it will be the first official engagement overseas with their new titles of Prince and Princess of Wales. Not only that, but it does arrive in the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
With that being said, there are plenty of things to keep the couple occupied. A source confirmed the following: “[They are] excited. [It has been an] emotional few months, [but are] hoping to boost their royal profile across the pond.”
The last time that they were in the United States was in 2014. They traveled across New York and Washington, while even having had the opportunity to meet none other than superstar Beyoncé.
But this time around, the trip will be a lot more regimented. They have plans on honouring the late Queen Elizabeth II, and by the looks of it, they have everything mapped out.
The following comments confirmed as much: “Kate and William are not taking this trip lightly and have been brainstorming with their team about the most effective ways to make a positive impact in the U.S.
“They’re taking a hands-on approach with speeches and engagements.” This approach also goes on to suggest the further divide between the two and the Sussexes.
There is nothing to suggest that William and Kate will be meeting up with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle anytime soon. As of now, royal duties are firmly at the forefront of their minds.
