Princess Anne is being tipped to take over the role of resolving rifts in the Royal Family in a conciliatory role.
Princess Anne Backed To Be In Charge Of Resolving Royal Disputes-‘That No-Nonsense Royal,’ Says Editor Charlotte Griffiths
King Charles III has made it clear that there is a more slimmed-down version of the monarchy, now that Queen Elizabeth II has passed. And as part of that process, working royals will take on more duties since the number of them have been reduced.
The role of resolving disputes was previously undertaken by the late Prince Philip. But by the looks of it, Anne has been back to do the job.
When asked about Anne, this is what editor Charlotte Griffiths had this to say: “We love her for that. That no-nonsense royal that we are missing after Philip. I think we need someone to knock their heads together.
“I’m thinking Harry here, probably Andrew too. We need that in the Royal Family.” If those comments are taken to be true, then it is very significant for the following reasons.
First of all, Anne did happen to see both Charles and Queen Elizabeth II navigate controversies during their respective roles. Therefore, she is in a position to understand how to deal with such situations moving forward.
Secondly, she became a Royal Navy Admiral in 2012. As such, she is well aware of working in high-pressure situations. And with the Sussexes and Prince Andrew not the least popular members connected to the royals, Anne will have plenty of things to get her teeth stuck into.
The fans on social media had a positive perception of Anne. A certain subset of people even went as far as to suggest that she should have taken the throne instead of King Charles III.
One person wrote: “He is no king. He is a clown. A mockery of Queen Elizabeth. They should have skipped him and made Princess Anne the Queen.”
Time will tell how Anne is used within the firm moving forward in the future. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
