Last week on AEW Rampage, Swerve Strickland would torture Billy Gunn – attacking his hands with a set of grip pliers. This puts a wrench in the Birthday Bash plans for Billy Gunn, which was arranged by The Acclaimed. However, the celebration will go on – and this is just another layer to what is becoming a heated feud. The Acclaimed are set to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Swerve & Keith Lee at Full Gear, but that attack might have Lee rethinking his alliance with Swerve.

The Firm Crash The Birthday Of Billy Gunn

Gunn would hit the ring with his hands heavily taped up – preventing any scissoring with Daddy Ass. Despite this, he’d still get an incredible reaction from the crowd, and Bowens was able to scissor with the camera man. However, The Acclaimed had some gifts to help – including Foam Scissoring hands, allowing Bowens to Scissor Daddy Ass, even if a snake busted his hands up.

AEW might as well stand for Acclaimed Every Wednesday these days, and they’d once again get the crowd going. They’d look for gifts for Daddy Ass in the crowd, finding a small child who made a big set of birthday scissors. However, The Acclaimed got him another gift – saying that his 30 years in the industry deserve to be celebrated – even one of his worst segments with a Reverse Battle Royal.

But at the end of the day, to The Acclaimed – he’s just the Worlds Greatest Dad, and he got a trophy proving it! Bowens had more planned, but most of his pals were upset he missed the reunion recently. So their final gift is Gunn having a chance to adopt Caster & Bowens as his sons.

The Gunn Club would come out, complaining that his real sons weren’t invited to his party. However, they got him a gift – a boot to the face from W. Morrissey. The Firm would beat The Acclaimed down, and it was up to FTR to make the save.

Colt Cabana Answers The Open Challenge Of Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho is planning on tearing down Ring of Honor, champion by champion. Tonight, he’s made an open challenge to ANY former ROH Champion, which includes former World, TV, Tag Team, Pure, and even Women’s Champions. Whoever wants to try and take The Ocho down, is willing to try – and with the ROH World Championship on the line, it’s a tempting offer. The champions of Ring of Honor span many legendary names, and it would be kept a close secret just who is showing up.

Jericho would once again say he doesn’t care who he wrestles, as the Ring of Jericho era will not end. The music of Colt Cabana would hit – a former ROH Tag Team Champion, and a man who has been a mainstay in Ring of Honor since 2002. He’d accept the handshake, before driving Jericho into the corner and hitting some forearm smashes.

Cabana applied a tight headlock and was thrown off into a shoulder tackle. He’d kick Jericho in the ribs, before a Sunset Flip for a two count. Jericho would be sent to the floor with some lariats, before throwing some strikes with Cabana on the floor. Cabana would be sent into the ring, and Jericho went up top – and Cabana would take him down to the floor in a nasty spill.

Jake Hager & Daniel Garcia Prove Vital In Jericho Victory

Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager would mock Cabana on the floor, before Jericho would hit some slaps to the head in a mocking fashion. Jericho would soak in the boo’s from the crowd – and hitting some elbow strikes. Cabana would trade blows in the middle of the ring, before hitting the Flying Apple hip attack.

Falling Splash from the corner would get a two count, before Jericho would look for the Walls Of Jericho. Cabana blocked into an inside cradle for a two count before avoiding the Judas Effect. Billy Goat’s Curse would be applied, with Jericho fighting free. Hager would help break up the Superman Pin, before Cabana would hit the moonsault onto Hager & Garcia.

Back in the ring, Jericho would nail the Codebreaker – ending this match. He remains ROH World Champion – and has taken down another major figure from the past of ROH. Who will face Chris Jericho at ROH Final Battle in December? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
