When the field for the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament was revealed, many fans of Ring of Honor would circle RUSH vs. Bandido. These two previously clashed over the ROH World Championship back in 2020, and are both former world champions from their time in ROH. Tonight, they meet once again – now both under AEW contract, with a chance to get a shot at the AEW World Championship laying in the balance.

RUSH Gets The Jump On Bandido

Before Bandido could even hit the ring, RUSH would soar over the top rope onto him – before ramming him into the barricade all the way around the ring. RUSH would grab an extension cord, and would whip Bandido with it, before choking him. There was nothing referee Aubrey Edwards could do, as the bell has not yet rung.

Bandido would be rolled into the ring, and RUSH took a moment to refresh himself at ringside with some water – before joining his already weakened opponent. RUSH would tease The Bulls Horns, but stopped short and gave a mocking kick to the face before taunting. Bandido would find his feet, only to be rocked with a right hand to the jaw.

RUSH would take some chops from Bandido, who would finally find some fight before being levelled with a running dropkick. Bandido would be able to get to the top rope, hitting a tornillo, before the running hurricanrana. RUSH was sent to the floor, and wiped out with the suicide dive. A Fosbury Flop would follow – Bandido keeping his foot on the gas.

Ethan Page Finds Out His Opponent For Next Week

Back in the ring, a frog splash would get the two count, before Bandido paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero with a shimmy of his shoulders. Three Amigos would be signalled, with Bandido getting cocky and trying for the delayed suplex. RUSH blocked with a knee strike to the head, before a rolling elbow smash.

Bandido would take a slap to the face, before RUSH came off the top with a one legged dropkick – catching Bandido in the jaw. RUSH would be caught with a military press slam, Bandido showing that he might be pound for pound the strongest man on the AEW roster. German Suplexes were traded, before RUSH would hit the leg lariat for a double down.

Bandido would be hit with a piledriver, but was able to kick out before three. Jose The Assistant would slide RUSH a chair, running a distraction as he tried to unmask Bandido in the ring. John Silver would come out to take Jose down, and Bandido took advantage with a roll up for a shock victory! He will now face Ethan Page in the semi-finals.

Nyla Rose Wins Match Using Cargills Moveset

Nyla Rose has successfully trolled her way to a shot at the TBS Championship, by stealing the belt and pretending to be champion. Jade Cargill is not keen on walking into Full Gear without the belt around her waist, and knows to expect Rose tonight. Rose is set to one on one with Kayla Sparks – who is trying to get her first win as she hits AEW Rampage for a third time.

Rose would hit a pump kick to Sparks, before hitting the Cross Over splash in the corner. She was mocking the moveset of Cargill, even finishing with Jaded and Cargill’s signature pinfall. Rose would be met by Cargill after this short match, and finally would trade blows with the true TBS Champion. She was dropped with a pump kick, with Rose rolling from the ring and escaping with the belt.

Who will leave Full Gear as TBS Champion? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
