Kate Middleton Visits Ukrainian Community Centre To Give Back To Displaced Families
The Princess of Wales made an appearance in order to show solidarity for the Ukrainian people who have been embroiled in a battle against Russia.
And as part of that process, Kate arrived to take part in an art class that was being held for the children, who had been displaced from their country amid the war.
In the pictures here, we can see that Kate is sitting down with the children for the class. One girl is sitting on her lap, with a massive smile on her face. Meanwhile, Kate was also greeted with a gift of some Ukrainian bread.
And after having seen the amount that the volunteers gave back, Kate and her husband Prince William had nothing but praise for them.
In their comments, they said: “The inspirational work of the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre is non-stop, and it’s changing lives.
“Providing practical advice on employment and housing, delivering educational classes for children and building social connections, the centre is at the heart of the community.”
That was not the only thing that garnered people’s attention though. Kate made a few waves with her clothing. She happened to be wearing a L.K. Bennett Tallis Pleated Shirt dress, that can set you back in the region of ($500).
The look was completed with a pair of earrings by Annoushka pearl drop that cost approximately ($480). And after having managed to combine the community work with a graceful appearance, the fans on social media had a lot to say.
A certain subset praised Kate for giving back in this manner, whilst others questioned the appearance. One person wrote: “A beautiful woman and a class act.”
While another person stated: “A donation from Royal Foundation would be more useful nod to Ukraine than outfit.”
