Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are becoming increasingly desperate to stay relevant.
Harry And Meghan Becoming Increasingly ‘Desperate’ To Stay Relevant-Says Angela Levin
That is according to royal expert Angela Levin. The couple have stood firm in the face of criticism amid the news that Harry’s memoir, Spare, is set to come out in the New Year.
There was hope that the book would be scrapped following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, which could have served as a segway into establishing a reconciliation with the firm.
But since the Sussexes have gained a reputation for speaking to the media and being very vocal about their personal lives, the book is seen as another way of doing that.
The timing could not be more contentious since King Charles III will be having his Coronation in May of next year. The contents of this book, therefore, could have a great impact on the way that Charles and Queen Consort Camilla are perceived.
In her comments, Angela said: “[They are] desperate. [They have] no other stories to offer.” Nevertheless, there is a prospect that the couple could return to the firm at some point in the future.
Reports have already indicated that the pair would not be against the idea of being part-time royals. Not only that, but Angela was of the view that King Charles III would not be resistant towards the pair returning provided that they followed the rule book.
But this is something that Angela does not see happening anytime soon. Her following comments confirmed as much: “They would have to step in line which I don’t think Meghan would want to do.
“I personally don’t think they will be able to.” Ultimately, the Sussexes need to do what is right for them. And if that means creating a situation where they burn their bridges with the Royal Family, then they have shown they are willing to do whatever is best for them.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
