Former star of ‘The Bachelorette’ Gabby Windey has opened up on her split from Erich Schwer.

The pair had gotten engaged on the finale of the show, but broke up only after a matter of months. Rumours began emerging that things were not right, as Gabby appeared on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ without her engagement ring on.
Not only that, but Eric had also not been there to support her from the crowd during one of her performances. While Gabby sought to reassure everyone that Eric was supporting her from home, the inevitable was confirmed as they parted ways.
And Gabby felt they did not have the same priorities moving forward. In her comments, she said: “The end of our relationship happened because we weren’t completely in step and in sync with each other in our common goals or just the way we approach life.”
Nevertheless, Gabby did everything in her power to try and resolve things. Sources stressed that she wanted to give each other some time apart in order to see if they could hash things out.
But once it became clear that this was not the case, the relationship was no longer tenable. In addition, since Gabby was very vocal about how she had learnt so much from her parents’ relationship, she knew exactly what she was looking for.
Gabby’s following comments confirmed as much: “I’m just so grateful that my dad and my stepmom encompass so many fundamentals and values that I look for in a relationship, like never placing blame.”
Having said that, though, Gabby does have a chance to make some headlines. She is in the latter stages of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ which may give her an opportunity to cap off the year with the famous trophy.
