The laste Queen Elizabeth II has been voted as the most influential member of the Royal Family.
Queen Elizabeth II Beats Meghan Markle In Being Voted Most Influential Royal Family Member
The former monarch passed away this year, making her the longest serving monarch in British history as well as the Head of State.
And as part of that process, several world leaders came out to pay their respects at her funeral, while the British Public at home queued for hours in order to get a look at her coffin.
With that being said, a study conducted by the Financial World focused on the analytics from Google, Instagram and TikTok in order to see which royal member was the most popular.
And by the looks of it, the results were unanimously in favour of Queen Elizabeth II. She had a total of around 4.7 million Google searches per month, 1.6 million Instagram hashtags and 18.7 billion TikTok views.
In comparison, Kate Middleton came second but the numbers were far less complimentary. Kate had 1.4 million Instagram hashtags, 2.9 million Google searches per month and 6.3 billion TikTok views.
Meghan Markle rounded off the top three with even fewer searches. Nevertheless, it is important to take these statistics with a pinch of salt for the following reasons.
First of all, since Queen Elizabeth II did die in September, the analytics would certainly be in favour of her since it was an event that had global implications.
Secondly, Queen Elizabeth II’s period as monarch is still fresh in the memory since King Charles III has not officially had his Coronation, which is set to take place on 6th May 2023.
With that background in place, King Charles III will have a lot of work to do to follow in those footsteps. And his cause has not been helped when he was recently humiliated as a protestor threw some eggs at him during a royal engagement at York, even if they did not hit him.
So will Charles live up to the hype? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
