Meghan Markle is not on good terms with Princess Kate Middleton. In fact, she is in a silent but constant rift with the complete Royal family. While some relationships are highly unlikely to go for the better, the relationship between the Duchesses could be better after Kate Middleton’s US visit.
According to Page Six, Kate Middleton is ready to renew her relationship with Meghan Markle. Allegedly, the ‘peace’ offer would take place when the two will meet in the US.
Will Kate Middleton End Her Feud With Meghan Markle During Her US Visit?
“Once Kate and William get over with their Boston plans, she’s planning to extend an olive branch to Meghan in a bid to reunite the brothers and heal the rift.” – the outlet reports. “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are knee-deep with their hectic schedules. But Meghan is willing to put in the effort as long as dates don’t clash.”
Kate Middleton and Prince William haven’t been in the US for a long time. The last time they set foot on American ground was in 2014. Now, they will go there with the purpose to attend the second annual Earth shot Prize award ceremony in Boston. The visit will take place on December 2nd, exactly when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will attend a different ceremony.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend the Ripple of Hope Award Gala of the Robert F Kennedy Human Rights organization in New York. They chose to go to this ceremony because they might potentially win one of the awards. They might get the award for their “effort on racial justice, mental health, and other social impact activities through their Archewell Foundation”.
In 2018, during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s appearance on the Oprah show, the Duchess claimed that Kate Middleton made her cry on the day of their wedding.
“A few days before the wedding, Kate was upset about flower girl dresses and it made me cry. It really hurt my feelings.” – Meghan Markle told Winfrey. “It was a really hard week of the wedding. And she was sad about something, but she owned it, and she apologized. And she brought me flowers and a note, apologizing.”
It remains to wait one more month to see how this will play out. In the end, they might indeed settle things down and renew their relationship. However, could we say the same for Prince Harry and Prince William? People are really doubtful about that. Allegedly Prince William cannot forgive Prince Harry quite yet.
