For the past year, Mandy Rose has managed an iron grip on the NXT Women’s Championship. While her level of skill in the ring has tripled over the past year, a lot of help came from Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne in nearly all defences. Tonight, they can’t assist Rose – as Alba Fyre already took both of them down. Now, Rose enters a Last Women Standing match – and whoever that is, can call themselves the NXT Women’s Champion.

Mandy Rose Gets Beaten All Around The Ring

Rose fled the ring as his match began, with Fyre following – with Rose slipping back into the ring. A boot would be blocked by Fyre, who tried to set up the Fyre Bomb early. Rose would flee the ring again, and was wiped out by a dive from Fyre.

The announce table was prepped, before Rose was driven face first into the ring post. Fyre grabbed a steel chair, but would be body slammed onto the chair. She was back up before the count of three, and back in the ring – blocked a knee strike from Rose with a steel chair. A steel rod would be used to add extra damage to a single leg crab, as if Rose can’t stand – she can get up off the mat.

Rose was able to fight free, and would look to use that steel rod herself. Fyre would disarm her, before being dropped with a spinebuster. Rose would apply a chinlock with the rod in the mouth of Fyre, before being flung off. Some running lariats would be followed by a gourdbuster – before a few kicks to the chest.

Alba Fyre Falls To Debuting Isla Dawn

Tornado DDT would narrowly miss a trash can, but Rose would roll from the ring all the same – before Fyre caught her with a swanton bomb. The referee reached four, but Rose reached her feet. A ladder would enter the mix, with Rose trying to drop it onto Fyre. Fyre pulled herself to her feet at seven, before getting back in the ring.

Rose would prep a trash can in the middle of the ring, but the knee gave out before a powerslam. Fyre would launch Rose down with Death Valley Driver right onto the trash can. Rose was able to find her feet, tossing Fyre from the ring and over the barricade. They’d brawl it out, before Fyre would look for a suplex – and was shoved off, cracking her head off the steel steps.

Rose would jump into a superkick as Fyre got back up, before taking a Gory Bomb onto the apron. Baseball bat to the stomach followed, before the ladder was set up. Rose was set up on the table, before Isla Dawn would make her NXT debut – spitting in the face and shoving Fyre down though the table.

Mandy Rose would retain due to this – and it’s unclear if Toxic Attraction has a new member, of if the Modern Day Witch just has a grudge to settle with Fyre. What is next for Isla Dawn in NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
