WWE Smackdown Results returned as Bray Wyatt came to the ring to atone for his actions last week.
He started it off by introducing himself and that he’s been conditioned to be strong and to take and fear is respect, and it’s hard to break free of that.
He questioned if he can change, and if he was LA Knight he knows how he would handle the situation. He wanted to apologize for what he did to Knight last week.
He had a moment of weakness and strayed from the path, and right on cue Knight came out.

Knight said he’s conflicted at hearing Wyatt talk about fear and respect, but when he looks into his eyes there’s something there that tells him that the fact he didn’t fear Wyatt it got him some respect.
He acted like he was going to shake Wyatt’s hand and slapped him and accepted his apology and said they can go their separate ways.
Wyatt agreed they’re even, and said he’ll fight the urges to do to him what he wants to, and the decision Knight makes will change the rest of his life and Wyatt extended his hand.
Knight slapped him again for a two for one special. Wyatt glared at him as the titantron came to life and flashed Wyatt’s imagery.
Backstage, Kross and Scarlet crossed paths with the Usos, and Jey asked him if he’s the fifth member, and Kross said he’s not a follower.
When asked if he’s not trying to make a name off the Bloodline, he said when he comes for Roman Reigns’ titles it won’t be part of a pack but on his own.
Shotzi vs Shayna Baszler w/Ronda Rousey
Ronda distracted Shotzi and Baszler went after her right off the bat and hammered her down.
Baszler talked some trash and Shotzi slapped her and rolled her up for a pin attempt, and Roonda caught her foot on the ropes and Baszler regained the advantage.
Shotzi fought back with a series of kicks and strikes, and she avoided a distraction attempt to hit a step up kick for a near pinfall.
Shotzi caught her with a dropkick, front slam, but Ronda distracted her and Baszler sent her into the ring post.
Raquel Rodriquez came out to even the odds, and Shotzi avoided the arm stomp to roll Baszler up for the win.
Backstage, after Knight tried to sneak out, he was found under a pile of debris as security worked to free him.
The Imperium (GUNTHER, Kaiser Kaiser, Giovanni Vinci) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) and Braun Strowman
After a standoff at ring side, the New Day and Imperium went at it while GUNTHER stared down Strowman on the ramp.
In the ring, the New Day sent Imperium to the floor, and they caught Kofi’s dive and sent him into the ring apron.
GUNTHER intercepted Woods, and Strowman grabbed him and the bell rang.
GUNTHER ducked out to the floor as we headed to commercial.

Woods and Vinci squared off in the ring when we came back, and he took it to woods and he and Kaiser double teamed Woods and posed.
Woods fought free and tagged in Strowman and he hit a shoulder tackle on Vince, but GUNTHER blind tagged in and chopped Strowman to no effect and GUNTHER took off to the floor and Strowman levels Imperium as he chased him.
Strowman caught GUNTHER with a spinebuster for a near pinfall, then went for a Monster Bomb, but GUNTHER got free and tagged kaiser in.
Kofi tagged in and caught kaiser with a crossbody, and the Woods hit a Midnight Hour for the win when Strowman chased GUNTHER away.
World Cup Round 1 – Butch w/Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn w/The Bloodline (Jey and Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa)
Butch had the upper hand early on and went for a pin attempt, then Zayn caught him off the ropes with a power bomb for his own pin attempt.
After Zayn talked some trash with the Bloodline on the floor, Butch hit a tornado DDT for a near pinfall, then Zayn shoved him off the top rope and into the barricade.
The Usos took turns distracting Butch for a pair of pin attempts, the second one following a Blue Thunder Bomb.
The battling Brutes ran over and went after the Bloodline, but the Bloodline laid them out, so Butch took out the Usos with a moonsault.
Sheamus knocked Jey into the ring to distract Zayn, and Butch hit the Bitter End for the win, but Sikoa dropped Butch with a Yurinagi.
The brawl continued until Roman Reigns’ music played and he came out with Paul Heyman.
Reigns took out Holland and Butch as Drew waited for him in the ring.

Sikoa grabbed Drew, and after Drew threw him out of the ring Reigns hit him with a spear.
Sheamus came in and he and Reigns traded blows until Zayn attacked Sheamus from behind and Reigns dropped him with a Superman Punch.
Kevin Owens came out and took out the Usos and confronted Reigns and Owens hammered him down.

Zayn and Owens stared each other down and Reigns him Owens with a Superman Punch, but Owens countered a spear with a knee and stunner.
This was a curious twist given reports Owens would be out a few more weeks with an injury, but it could pay off. What do you think about the surprise?
