Jon Moxley is no longer the AEW World Heavyweight Champion, but he doesn’t have a chance to go right after MJF. Instead, he needs to deal with Hangman Page – who just came back from a concussion that was inflicted by Moxley. Until Moxley would mock the injury of Page, things weren’t that heated – but after that, it was an all out brawl that led to both men being kicked out of the building. Tonight, Moxley has a chance to peak – and Page might look for the same result as last week.

Jon Moxley Likes How Hangman Page Is Settling Things Now

Last week didn’t get out of hand in the opinion of Moxley, and he’s starting to respect Hangman Page. Page made his point using his hands last week, and that’s something he wants more of. Moxley wants more fighting, this is All Elite Wrestling, not All Elite Talking. There’s no Blackpool Microphone Club, it’s about combat. If Page wants his rematch, he knows where to find Moxley.

When it comes to the Jericho Appreciation Society, Moxley is sick of them. He intends to put them in the rearview after this weekend, looking to ensure they don’t get involved with Yuta vs. Garcia or Castagnoli vs. Jericho. This feud needs to end, and it seems like this is the end.

Samoa Joe Shows No Regard For The Life Of Darby Allin

Samoa Joe is the self proclaimed King of Television right now, holding the TNT Championship as well as the ROH World TV Championship. Tonight, he faces some hard competition in Darby Allin, a former TNT Champion in his own right. Joe generally focuses on just smashing through his opponents – but that might become an issue given the insane pain tolerance that Darby Allin consistently shows.

Allin would throw the first blow, forcing Joe into the corner before being shoved across the ring and coming back with a swift dropkick. Joe would roll to the floor, and Allin was a bit too fast in following – crashing into the barricade with a cannonball senton as Joe just walked away. Allin would be lifted by Joe and swung into the barricade and ring apron with zero regard for the life of Allin.

Joe would pull up some ring mats, and this was that Samoa Joe who brawled with Necro Butcher, the man who ruled Ring of Honor for years. Allin was shoved into the ring to break the referee’s count, before a back suplex on the mat. A powerbomb on the concrete was planned, but Allin broke free before running into a snap powerslam on the concrete instead.

Allin Fights Until His Last Breath

Finally back into the ring, Allin would get a moment to recover before hitting some body blows and being knocked down with a back elbow to the face. Joe would apply a neck crank with the feet of Allin under the ropes, limiting how long he could hold it. Allin would try to kick Joe from the mat, before being picked up and nailed with a headbutt.

Joe would throw Allin over the top rope to the apron, before running him off the ring apron head first. Doc Samson would check Allin at ringside, and that was not the limit of Allin, as he’d crawl back into the ring. Joe would take a palm strike to the jaw, before the Manhattan Drop into a big boot into a running senton for a two count.

Allin slipped out of the ring, baiting Joe to follow before shoving him into the ring post. Coffin Drop would follow, taking Joe down on the floor. Back into the ring, a Coffin Splash was nearly blocked into the Rear Naked Choke, but Allin slipped free and hit a stunner into a Code Red for a two count.

Joe would catch Allin with a uranage in the corner – before Joe looked for a top rope Muscle Buster. Allin would fight free by biting Joe, before looking for the Coffin Drop. Joe caught him in a chokehold, and choked Allin out for the victory to remain TNT Champion. After the bell, Allin took a headbutt and a Muscle Buster onto the skateboard. Wardlow made the save, causing Joe to run for the hills.

Can Wardlow defeat The King of TV? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
